  • 10-year Best Paper Award of the journal WIRTSCHAFTSINFORMATIK for the paper, "Outsourcing der Informationsverarbeitung im Mittelstand: Test eines Multitheoretischen Kausalmodells", with Armin Heinzl, Volume 43, No. 4, 2001. Reprint in both German and English language to appear in a special issue of WIRTSCHAFTSINFORMATIK.
  • Awarded with the 2004 dissertation prize from the Alcatel SEL Foundation for Communica-tion Research which is endowed with 5.000,-- Euro.
  • Selected to participate in the 2001 International Conference on Information Systems Doctoral Consortium in New Orleans. Participation in this four-day consortium is by invitation only, and is limited to twenty students from the U.S., and twenty international students
